IV Sedation

We offer IV sedation for any procedure, used with patients who experience anxiety when going to the dentist and for procedures such as root canals and oral surgery. This type of sedation allows you to remain conscious and be able to understand and respond to requests from your dentist. You will feel very relaxed and time will appear to pass quickly. A sedation consult is required to see if you are a candidate for I.V. sedation and that a thorough description of what you can expect will be provided once this is done.

Complete Exams

Wascana Dental Centre provides complete exams for children and adults. This includes a professional cleaning and teeth brushing, fluoride treatment, and x-rays as needed.

Fillings

If you have a cavity that’s causing you discomfort, Wascana Dental Centre provides fillings to repair existing damage to a state that appears natural by using a tooth coloured composite that matches your existing shade. Root Canals

If your tooth becomes severely decayed, a root canal at Wascana Dental Centre may be necessary. We remove the nerve and seal the internal chamber, allowing you to retain the tooth in your dentition. This is usually followed by a crown restoration to the chewing part of the tooth to prevent fracture.

Extractions

If a tooth is severely decayed, cracked, or infected, extracting the tooth may be the best option. This procedure can be done with local anesthesia or IV sedation. Our dentists will assess whether or not the tooth should be pulled or if another treatment is feasible.

Teeth Whitening

Wascana Dental Centre offers take-home teeth whitening trays to boost your confidence and improve the look of your smile. Whitening agents are applied to a tray for your top and bottom teeth; all you have to do is sit with the trays on your teeth for several minutes at home!

Crowns and Bridges

Our dentists offer crowns and bridges to cover and protect teeth, fill in gaps of missing teeth, and provide support for surrounding teeth.

Dentures

We don't provide the fabrication of dentures, but we work in conjunction with local denturists who are experts in this field. We remove or restore teeth as needed to provide a patient with removable prostheses such as complete dentures or partial dentures.

Implants

Wascana Dental Centre also provides implants to replace missing teeth or provide a replacement for decayed or broken teeth. Implants can be created for one or all of your teeth and are made to blend in with natural teeth, both in size and color.
